Landline redundancy
The device detects fixed line failures and provides a backup line via the AS551 BRI mobile phone network automatically. By this it makes an important contribution to the availability of a company, an authority or other institutions in case of a loss of the landline.
The connection to a telephone system can be installed without intervention in the existing configuration of the PBX. This means that the AS551 BRI can be switched to the line between NTBA and the telephone system (PBX).
Further additional options such as a ‘SimSwitch’ SIM card changer or optional features, so-called ‘Extended features’ like the TELNET control, the SNMP module, a Short.message-API exspang the range of applications of the AS551 BRI.
All optional software extensions can be used with a free 28-day Test-license.
